Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Ellen Hedin earned a Bachelor’s degree in design from HDK-Valand in 2022. Since then, her furniture has been exhibited and represented worldwide in private collections, museums, galleries, and stores, and she has been represented by Misschiefs since 2022.

Each piece is unique and handmade, often incorporating repurposed materials that carry traces of their past lives. Her work emerges from memories, emotions, and elements of everyday surroundings, drawing on the beauty, humor, ugliness, and even the unsettling aspects of life.
